Hello, I understand your concern about experiencing evening fever that subsides with medication. While this could be a mild viral infection, recurrent fever at night warrants proper evaluation to rule out other possibilities. **Possible Causes:** 1. Viral/bacterial infection (most common) 2. Urinary tract infection (especially in young women) 3. Early typhoid or dengue (needs blood tests) 4. Tuberculosis (if fever persists beyond 2 weeks) 5. Autoimmune conditions (less likely at your age) **Recommended Approach:** 1. Monitor your temperature pattern for next 48 hours 2. Stay well hydrated and take rest 3. Avoid self-medication beyond basic paracetamol 4. Watch for warning signs:    - Fever persisting beyond 5 days    - Rash, severe headache or vomiting    - Pain during urination **Tests to Consider if Fever Continues:** - Complete blood count (CBC) - Urine routine examination - Widal test (for typhoid) - NS1 antigen (if dengue suspected) Since fever patterns can indicate different conditions, I recommend a proper consultation for accurate diagnosis. You can reach me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two to discuss your symptoms in detail.
