Hello my diabetes level at home using accuchek is morning varies from 92 to 100 and 1 hr after food varies from 120 to 180 . Afternoon sugar levels are normal and night time after food sugar level is high. Do I need insulin or metformin . I am in 22 week now pls advice. My sugar levels doesn't go high every time but some days there is variation between normal to high. What can I do ?

You first need a diabetic diet and an exercise schedule If despite diet and exercise fasting levels are  more than 95 and post lunch levels are more than 140 you first need to start with metformin the dose of metformin can be adjusted if still the levels are uncontrollled you will have to switch to insulin
