Gerd and IBS
Hello Doctors,
I have gerd and ibs and for that I consulted a gastroenterologist for the same. Doctor gave me three medicines namely gasbon max, acomore od 300 and gutviz. After consuming these med for three days I felt belly cramps with gas and there is acidity. There is sometimes feeling of indigestion and sometimes loose stool. This symptoms were not there before. Is this side effect of the medicines?
Acomore OD (Acotiamide) and Gutviz can sometimes cause diarrhea, gas, or stomach cramps as your motility changes.
Gasbon Max generally well-tolerated, but any change in gut medication can temporarily cause adjustment symptoms like loose stools.
If the cramps become severe or the loose stools persist beyond 2–3 days, consult to manage the issue
