Have GERD and gas can GERD cause breathing problems I have done my endoscopy it shows linear ulcers in lower esophagus

Yes GERD can cause breathing problems. Because the acid which refluxes can enter airway and cause breathing problems. GERD not controlled with medication or GERD requiring prolonged medication require further evaluation with esophageal manometry and may require surgery to strengthen lower esophageal spincter

Yes. GERD can cause breathing problems also if severe. Anti reflux medicines are needed.
