Gasping for air

2025-12-03 02:24:53
My 2 months old has been gasping for air once in a while since she was a newborn. Tonight it was so worse to an extent she couldn't breathe well. Her nose was blocked and foam kept coming out through her mouth. She was in so much pain and she couldn't breastfeed. I rubbed her at the back and took almost 30 minutes to ease the pain. Other time she will gasp for air but she stops the struggle immediately I lift her up. This happens like once a day. What could be causing this and what's the solution?

Gasping and frothing of milk some times indicate severe conditions like Tracheo-oesophageal fistulas (H-Type).This baby requires in -person evaluation
