Hi. The diagnosis for this is called Midline Diastema. When the gap is larger than 4mm we ideally correct it via Orthodontics, i.e braces. You can certainly go for veneers or zirconia crowns but that also requires additional tooth reduction.
Besides to achieve proper teeth proportions, atleast doing the front four teeth with veneers/zirconia caps may be needed.
Also, the reason for this midline gap is maybe a high frenum (from the pic you have posted) which is the tissue attached from the upper lip to the gum. Laser treatment for this is painless. So do not worry.
