Gangereous gall bladder

Diagnosed with a gangereous gallbladder. Is it advisable to remove the gallbladder. If yes how uncomfortable would life be after removal.

A gangrenous gall bladder is an emergency. This needs surgery now. Life after a gall bladder surgery is perfectly normal. But with a gangrene in your gall bladder is a ticking time bomb. Please get operated immediately.

Definitely. Otherwise there will be uncontrollable sepsis which will further deteriorate the patient's condition considering that he is an elderly person who also might be having some other co-morbidities like diabetes and blood pressure. Although the surgery is bit risky, but that is the only option and in good hands, it should not be a problem. He will mostly need good antibiotic cover too for a longer time
