Gallbladder Stone
HI,
Just wanted to know that in order to remove the gallbladder Stone the stone itself can be removed or the entire gallbladder has to be removed. I have a 7mm stone just wanted to know which is the best procedure to remove the stone. Can it be removed without surgery or any other alternative methods. I guess I am facing lots of gastric and indigestion issues because of this.

For gall bladder stones thebest treatment is laparoscopic cholecystectomy in which the entire gall bladder needs to be removed along with the stones. This is one time full and final treatment for the stones as after this you will never have stones. These stones do not get dissolved or melted with any kind of medications so they have to be surgically operated. As gall bladder (GB) is the source of formation of these stones in case if we just remove the stones and leave the GB then there might be stones again at the same place. So GB also needs to be removed

Gall bladder has to be removed because if stones alone are removed then they re appear very soon often within months. The problem lies in the gall bladder so it has to be removed completely, not even a small part of it can be left as it will result in recurrence of disease.
