Gallbladder polyp

2026-09-03 18:42:45
I had an ultrasound today, and it showed that I have a 4 mm gallbladder polyp. What should I do about it? My doctor has advised me to get a follow-up ultrasound every 6 months. Also, can I go to the gym with a gallbladder polyp?

It is managed with ultrasound surveillance and does not prevent gym activity, but please discuss the follow up interval with your doctor based on your individual risk factors or can consult me.

No problem,  you can go to gym and continue your normal routine. Only caution needed is avoid fatty, heavy meals.  Take small frequent meals. If any time you experience much pain or discomfort,  consult a gen surgeon.
