This is a large stone. Decision of surgery is equal in favour of yes and no. But such large stone is an indication for gallbladder removal.

Hi if there is no upper abdominal pain / post meal fullness / discomfort / upper back pain , then you don't require surgery. This is asymptomatic gall stone. In case you develop any of above symptoms then you require surgery. Any stone more than 1 CMS in size needs removal of gall bladder.
