My Father 62 years is diabetic. He is having pain in his left shoulder blade for the last more than 1 month. Recently he was diagnosed with Frozen shoulder and was advised Etoshine MR tablets. The conditions hasn't improved much. What should be the next course of action.

Control diabetes Do regular physiotherapy May need INTRAARTICULAR INJ IF OTHER CAUSES OF SHOULDER PAIN EXCLUDED If not improved,then can consult orthopaedic or Rheumatologist

Get a intrarticular injection done up for him. That will not only provide pain relief and but also slow down progress of inflammatory process. Followed by aggressive exercise.

Diabetic control is must, both for injection and managing frozen shoulder. Taking painkillers won't work here.
