Hi Doc. I am feeling frequent dizziness from past 6-7 days. I was on medicine for anxiety for past 2 years till I left taking medicines in September 2018. From then I never felt like this, but from past few days I suddenly loose control of my body for few seconds. Please suggest wheather I should go back to psychiatrist or should consult a physician first. Thanks.

Hi Sir Thanks for seeking help here. As you stopped medication long back this is not the withdrawal symptoms of drugs... This can be a new onset Anxiety episodes or relapse of the past episode. Function dizziness is most common and easily treated by Psychiatrist.  Physicians, ENT specialist and Neurologist treat organic dizziness....and the most common medication for that is vertin 16 mg TID, But due to bust schedule they really treat functional dizziness with that molecule also ..... I suggest, the role of vertin is not long term....so let's have a consultant to function dizziness... The character of Functional dizziness is variable and not persisting all the time... Let's have a discussion... Happy to Help You
