Fracture is too much displaced .. may need surgery....

Hello dear. Usually fracture clavicle ( collar bone ) is treated conservative/ by slings or support in all age groups. Few indications for surgery are : displacement more than the width of bone , bone tenting the skin , associated with injury to nerves or arteries. In ur case displacement seems more than the width of bone and it may be tenting ur skin. Please get it checked in clinic and get final management strategy. Till than keep ur limb in sling

This fracture requires surgery as there is more displacement and the skin is or will be poked by the fracture fragment I would suggest you to get surgery done with plating for best result as these bone is not going to unite conservatively at all

Fracture of collar bone (clavicle) is  usually treated conservatively. - it usually takes 10 -12 wks.for fracture to heal.

Hello Conservative and Surgery both are the options Conservative management can be done but there will be cosmetic problem near the fracture site, U can go with Conservative management but strict no weight bearing on the left upper limb because once it goes to non-union ,surgery has to be done Ideally 6 weeks will be enuf
