Fosfomycin dosage for uti
Hello doctors ,
I was sufeering with uti 3 weeks before took niftas 100mg but doesn't work,urine culture says fosfomycin is sensitive my doctor prescribed it..but I forgot to ask how many sachets to use..
I have taken 1 sachet yesterday is that enough

Last year same ecoli bacteria found but niftas have worked..

Urine culture report not attached. Usually one sachet of fosfomycin is often enough for uncomplicated UTI, but the required number depends on your urine culture and symptoms. Please confirm the dose with your treating doctor before taking another sachet.
