Can exclusive formula feeding cause developmental delays in kids My both kids are exclusively on formula since 1 month of age,now they are 3 months old and they started smiling, recognising faces and making noises by mouth but they hate tummy time and no head control yet plus they are not rolling over.Kindly let me know if it's a matter of concern if I should do something about it or they are just doing fine.

Exclusive formula feeding at 3 months does not necessarily cause developmental delay but can have lesser IQ compared to breastfed infants as per latest studies. Your babies current milestones (smiling, vocalizing, face recognition) are positive signs. Lack of head control and rolling over at 3 months can be within normal variation. Encouraging tummy time and monitoring progress over next months is advised.
