Fluid in intracervical canal

2022-11-13 15:16:48
My wife is 19 weeks pregnant. She is having some fluid leakage for past 2-3 days. Doctor did cervical length scan and anomaly scan. Anomaly scan is normal. Cervix length is 25 mm. But in the earlier scan it was 35 mm. In the report also it shows fluid in intracervical canal width 4 mm. We are worried. Doctor did the test with speculum but she did not find any evidence of aminiotic fluid leakage.Doctor has advised complete bed rest and ask to repeat cervical length scan after 3 days. Is this normal? Please advise.

When your doctor has done a speculum examination and confirmed that everything is fine, it must be fine. Without examining the patient we have no business to say that this is not normal .
