There is no such rule that we have to complete 8 hours of sleep. It can be 6 hours as well. Quality rather than quantity if sleep that needs to be focused. There are many things that can affect sleep quality like anxiety, tension, lifestyle choices,  change in places etc.

Maintaining sleep hygiene techniques would help No day time sleeping Limited intake of coffee and tea, avoid after 4PM Limiting your mobile phone usage , not to use just before going to sleep Only go to bed when you are sleepy Don't keep checking time after going to bed Do physical exercise daily for atleast 20 mins Light reading or listening to light music if not able to sleep would help Keeping regular schedules for dinner and bedtime also would help ( maintain same to go to bed daily ) Inspite of practising this if you have sleep disturbances need to consult psychiatrist in person
