Fits of extreme aggression+depression

I had been diagnosed with chronic depression a few months ago, and I've probably had it for much longer than that. Recently, I've started feeling more depressed than ever, which comes along with fits on aggression, my actions are extremely impulsive, I feel detached from other people (not wanting to talk at all), and I'm always irritable. There are times when I'm on cloud nine but the other times I'm very sad, there's no in-between. I feel im toxic to people since I have some disturbing thoughts

Hello dear, The description provided by you here of low mood and depression, bouts/fits of anger-aggression, impulsivity, feelings of emotional detachment, irritability, mood swings/instability, and negative thoughts all point towards depressive episode. However from your account I think a detailed assessment including personality, and socio-enviornmental factors is required. Also a psychological intervention of psychotherapy can help you get the desired results. Hence please discuss with your psychiatrist these options including addition of psychotherapy to your treatment regimen. Hope this helps you. Best wishes for your health and future.
