My baby is 5weeks old. When I checked his rectal temperature through thermometer it read 99.1 F But when we touched his back and body it is hot. How to decide whether it is fever or not. How to treat this. Please help me

Dear parents, Normal' thermometer is not used for rectal temperature. Purchase rectal thermometer. Temperature upto 99.3 degree Fahrenheit is considered normal
