Fever on and off past two months
I had minor on and off fever past two months and every time my platelet count go down .
Currently I m feeling weakness , no fever ,platelet count is 1.49
Could you please suggest me why platelet count is going down every time ?it also come back to normal after medication
First of all, it is necessary to record the temperature.
Secondly, do you have other signs of thrombocytopenia? Like a rash or black stools or subconjunctival haemorrhage or easy bruising? This is very important because low platelet count is not an indication to treat until the counts are below 20, 000 for transfusion or otherwise clinical evidence of thrombocytopenia.

i ll suggest you to monitor your platelets count and maintaine a recors if they fall below 1 lac. dont overinvestigate ypurself without any reason. That will just add to the confusion.
