Fever not going down post medicine

My son is 3 years old, he caught fever of 102.8 and we have given 7.5 ml paracetamol syrup but even aftet 2 hours, fever is not going down, I'm worried a bit, what should I do? Currently it is mid night for us

Sponging will help in reducing fever. You can give ibugesic plus syrup every 6 hourly
