Fever not coming down

My DD has fever since day before yesterday evening. We had given crocin and temperature used to coe down after a while.Then after consulting doctor again over phone we started giving Calpol (6ml , she is 23 months old and weighs 10 kg) . But now her temperature is kind of stuck n not coming down. What to do

Does she have a cough/runny nose, sneezing or any other symptoms? Is she otherwise well..meaning eating and drinking, passing urine and playing?

Usually fever settle down after 4 to 5 days. Most important thing,you have to monitor child activity, urine output and food intake.

So the child have symptoms of URTI like running nose sneezing quite often cold need to be seen Any vomiting episodes ?

Sponge her down whenever temperature rises. Increase her water intake to prevent dehydration fever. You can use Calpol every 4-6 hours if required. Usually viral fevers last for 3-4 days. If it persists beyond that, get back to your doctor
