My first boy is 5 and half year now and second boy 2 years with medicine I stored for fever meftal or paracetamol which is better..

For paediatric patients paracetamol is safer.
meftal can be given only if fever is not responding to paracetamol and cold sponging.

Paracetamol is safe with lesser side effects than Meftal
Use Paracetamol as the first choice for both 2-year-old and 5-year-old children.
Use Mefenamic acid only if: Fever is not responding to paracetamol, Child has significant pain or discomfort, and doctor recommends it.
Always give Mefenamic acid after food to avoid stomach upset.
Next Steps
Always use the correct dose based on weight, not just age.
Use syringe or dropper provided with the medicine — avoid spoons. Do not exceed 4 doses per day.
Fever ≥100.4°F (38°C) and child is uncomfortable.
Not always needed for low-grade fever if child is playful and feeding.

No cold sponging with ice water — use lukewarm water only if necessary.
