Hello Paracetamol is safe with lesser side effects than Meftal Use Paracetamol as the first choice for both 2-year-old and 5-year-old children. Use Mefenamic acid only if: Fever is not responding to paracetamol, Child has significant pain or discomfort, and doctor recommends it. Always give Mefenamic acid after food to avoid stomach upset.
