Fever last longer
From 30 august my daughter is having high fever. I was giving her 1 ml of cefpodoxime and 2.5 ml of paracetamol. She still having mild fever after giving paracetamol 3 hours her head become warm followed by her body. What should I do?
You are already giving antibiotic to the child along with fever medicine. After giving antibiotics it is important to wait for 3 days and continue the medicine and after 3 days if the child is not improving then only you have to take a follow with your doctor. Please consider fever only when the armpit temperature is 100 or more. Higher medicines like ibugesic can be given after medical consultation. To decrease the body temperature you can also do body sponge.
