Fever cough
I m 54 years . 3 0 days back I felt cold and caught with fever cough and bronchitis.. symptoms improved with rest of the couple of days and use of Paracetamol..After 30 days I again got fever. Though Bronchitis cured but cough is not fully cured. I did not take antibiotics.plz advise treatment

Do a chest xray cbc and crp count for detection of recent infection. After further evaluation a course of antibiotics and steroids would be started

Your symptoms suggest post-infectious cough following bronchitis. Initially, your symptoms improves without antibiotics suggested that you have viral bronchitis .After a viral respiratory infection, cough can persist for 3–6 weeks due to airway irritation even after the infection improves.
Next Steps
Take tab Levocetirizine 5 mg once at night for 5 days and Syrup Ambroxol + Guaifenesin + Terbutaline syrup 10 ml twice daily for 5 days after food.
For fever, Paracetamol 650 mg thrice daily, if fever present.
Also take CBC,EDR,CRP,Chest xray,sputum examination.

Do steam inhalation 2–3 times daily and drink warm fluids.
Avoid cold drinks, dust exposure, and smoking areas as they can prolong cough.
