Hi, My child (age: 2.5 months) got vaccinated yesterday at a government hospital (2nd or 10 weeks vaccination) after that she is having mild fever (99.6 to 100.6) What should be precautions should we take? And what should be the minimum gap we should maintain between two paracitamol (drops) doses for her in case of fever?

You can give paracetamol every 4 hours ( 6 times in 24 hours ) if fever or pain is there. If it lasts more than. 48 hours, consult a pediatrician. Look for swelling over injection site or any new symptoms.

Paracetamol can be given 4-6hourly. So minimum gap is 4 hours. No other precautions to be taken. In case of fever persisting beyond 48 hours please visit your nearest pediatrician. Thanks.
