My 10 month old baby had cold and cough since last 2 weeks which is now fine but today he has developed fever..what could be the reasons for fever after cold is over..do i need to worry? What should i do?

The fever could be totally unrelated to the cold and cough.  Or if your baby had chest congestion which was unresolved,  that could also lead to fever. Kindly consult your pediatrician so that your baby can be assessed and the cause of fever known
