To combat fatigue, focus on a home diet rich in iron from spinach, and beans, vitamin B12 from fish, eggs, and dairy, and complex carbohydrates from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, and consider getting blood tests to check for underlying deficiencies, particularly for iron, B12, and thyroid function.

Sent by Copilot: I’m sorry to hear about your mother’s condition. It sounds like she’s been through a lot. Seronegative arthritis can be challenging to manage, and it’s good that she’s under medical supervision. The symptoms you’re describing—tiredness, high pulse rate, and restlessness—could be related to several factors: Medication Side Effects: DMARDs (Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs) can sometimes cause fatigue and other side effects1. It’s important to monitor these and discuss them with her doctor. Anemia: Chronic inflammatory conditions like arthritis can lead to anemia, which might cause fatigue and a high pulse rate2. Infection or Inflammation: Ongoing inflammation or a new infection could also be contributing to her symptoms3. Cardiovascular Health: Even though her ECG was normal, other cardiovascular issues might still be present. It’s good that she’s taking Betacap to manage her pulse rate3. Given her persistent symptoms, it might be helpful to: Review her current medications with her doctor to see if any adjustments are needed. Check for anemia or other deficiencies through blood tests. Monitor her symptoms closely and keep a detailed record to share with her healthcare provider. It’s essential to keep her doctor informed about any new or worsening symptoms. They might need to adjust her treatment plan or investigate further to ensure she’s getting the best care possible. If you have any more details or questions, feel free to share. I’m here to help
