However, after that, babies should gain about 20–30 g/day, so weight should start increasing. The fact that your baby passes 6–10 urine diapers daily is a good sign of adequate milk intake, and “wet fart” is common in breastfed babies due to an immature gut. The likely issue is not milk quantity but feeding technique—ensure proper latch, feed 8–12 times/day, and allow complete emptying of one breast before switching. No medicines are needed at present; drugs to increase milk supply are only given after pediatrician advice. Monitor weight over the next week and consult if there is no gain or if urine output decreases.
