Fasting Sugar high?

So I use a home based testing kit to monitor my sugar levels, not diabetic. Recently i have observed I wake up in the morning everyday around 5-6.30 am(everyday). And go to pee. So as a result i checked my sugar. Fasting is staying between 100-108 and pp comes under normal. I am a software engineer staying in the UK. I used to eat junk but have completely cut it out. I eat home based food only. But i eat basmati rice twice a day with dal, veggies or other protein like chicken. Is this why it is causing a spike? Should I eliminate rice? Please help me, I do not want this to be converted into diabetes. I do strength training every alternate 3 days. Thats 2 days a week. I am 27yo, 5'7, 68.5KGs and I eat homemade food mostly and definitely include protein. Also i have switched my oils to olive oil and reduced the amount of oils generally. Please help me how to reduce it. I am already cutting off most of the sugars and kept the intake under 10g. Please help
