Fasting sugar 180-220 and Pp 180-250
Hi,
My dad is taking Glykind M from past few years and from last 20 days sugar levels are high. As per Doctor advise, medicine changed to Vildapride and diet is immensely controlled ( from last 10 days ) but sugar levels are still the same. What should be next action.

Hi please check his HBa1c levels and also monitor his fasting sugar and 2 hrs after each meals for 3 days . Make chart to understand the pattern and affactivity of drug. If still not controlled then his medicine need to be adjusted along with diet

Vildapride alone won't help to control sugar levels.
Need to take combination of medicines.

Need history and FBS PPBs and HbA1c for proper management also need creatinine . please consult for better management.
