Yes it can be used at night, but early morning sample is considered the best. Do u mean intermenstrual spotting? Or implantation bleeding ? There is no terminology like false periods as such. Of course pregnancy needs to be ruled out , but there are other causes, better to consult a gynaecologist.
This date information is incomplete and irrelevant without a proper history of when was the last period , her regular bleeding pattern etc
