Eye checkup

I work for long hours in front of laptop screen. I don't have any eye sight issue but I do want to go for a regular eye check(which I never have underwent). I am looking for some anti-glare specs or blue light filter glasses as a precaution. Should I visit a doctor or visiting a eye care center and get the check up done should be enough?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. I would suggest you go to a ophthalmologist first and then let him perform a basic checkup of your eye since you have never gone for it. He will only have certain machines which can determine the power so both things can be done simultaneously. Going to a optometrist will only let you determine if you have any power issue or not that's it. But the final option is upto you. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
