recent tan wil fade off in couple of weeks and necessary treatment can be started after that like chemical peels,which help in taking care of it.pain normally is seen sometimes due to sunburn.now if its a sunburn u need to apply a mild steroidal cream and ice for some days. also start using a sunscreen when u r outdoors especially a beach destination.use of sunscreen should be in your routine.
