Hello, bad breath could be because of deposits on your teeth or food lodged between teeth. bad breath could also be due to cold, acidity, pungent food, not drinking water, fasting for long hours, etc. visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. brush twice daily, floss regularly, rinse after every meal.

Bad breath could be because of some systemic problem also, but the local problem can be taken care off by following these things :- 1- scaling and polishing done, if any decay is there then get that also filled. 2- Brush twice daily after meals with some medicated toothpaste (ask your dentist for this) . 3- Do flossing also (ask the dentist the proper way of doing that) , if you have some wide interdental area's then can use interdental brush. 4- clean your tongue with a scraper .Don't demotivate yourself soooooooo much every problem has some or other solution . You are provided with only one life to do a good cause dont just let it go in waste for such a small problem.

Hello Mam, Bad breath could be due to both local and systemic problems.Local problems can be sorted out by Impeccable oral hygiene, flossing daily, using interproximal brushes to clean the deposits under the crowns, tongue cleaning and using a zinc containing mouth wash. The systemic reasons could be due to Indigestion.Gastro-Esophageal reflux.Regurgitation etc..for which you need to consult a Gastro Entorologist. Regards Dr Sumanmakam

Hi..... To reduce or prevent bad breath: Brush your teeth after you eat. Keep a toothbrush at work to use after eating. Brush using a fluoride-containing toothpaste at least twice a day, especially after meals. Toothpaste with antibacterial properties has been shown to reduce bad breath odors. Floss at least once a day. Proper flossing removes food particles and plaque from between your teeth, helping to control bad breath. Brush your tongue. Your tongue harbors bacteria, so carefully brushing it may help reduce odors.....
