Extreme weakness after gastrointestinal

I had suffered from gastrointestinal infection few weeks back and as a result had gone through extreme diarrhoea, after treatment in hospital now the condition is improving but I am feeling very weak. other than normal food which I am taking what other health supplements i can take to overcome the severe weakness. Thank you
