U can use it once or twice a day depending upon the severity of the inflammation, can also use other medications as well but first cause should be known . Detailed history and clinical picture is required,Keep it moisturised, using sun protected lip balms

Exfoliative cheilitis is a chronic condition where lips become dry, flaky, and sometimes painful. It often flares up with irritation, lip-licking, or allergies. Tacrolimus ointment 0.1% is sometimes prescribed, but the frequency and duration must be guided by your dermatologist because it’s a sensitive area and long-term use needs supervision.
Next Steps
*Continue using gentle, fragrance-free lip balms (like NMF-based or petroleum jelly). *Avoid licking, biting, or peeling the lips. *Rule out nutritional deficiencies or allergies if symptoms persist. Kindly book an online consultation for further evaluation and management.
Health Tips
With consistent care and medical supervision, flare-ups reduce and lips stay healthier.
