Elevated Rbc and potassium levels

Hi,my husband has elevated rbc and potassium levels with low mcv and mch values with normal alkaline phosphatase and creatine kinase and creatinine.I have attached CBC report.Is it a cause of concern?we are worried.Thanks

No. There is no cause for concern. RBC count is very minimally raised. It is a good thing. Because of this his Haemoglobin level is good. His MCV & MCH are slightly less but it is compensated by high RBC count. Potassium is also very minimally raised. I am sure if you do the test again after 2 weeks from a different Laboratory, the report will be normal.

Don't worry it is fine. Just reduce your potassium intake a bit in your diet. Drink plenty of water. Consult if facing any problem.
