Effect of Antibiotics in semen analysis
I have undergone semen analysis with sperm concentration of 16 million/ml. Doctor suggested Ciproflox 400 mg antibiotics for 5 days. After 20 days i have gone for semen analysis then found only 3 million/ml concentration.
Please tell after using antibiotics when to go for test

Hi.. taking antibiotics or having an infection may each impact fertility. The sperm life cycle is about 90 days — so both the impacts of an infection, once treated, or a round of antibiotics should be resolved within a few months.
