Eating Slate Pencil

My sister has a craving to eat slate pencil, and she has been eating slate pencil for last 6 months. Can this be really harmful for her health? Is there anything that we can do to reduce her craving. Also, how to test if the harm is already done? Please help

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Yes such practices can be harmful to her health no doubt about that. Cut off her supplies of slate pencil. Talk to her that she shouldn't be doing it. She might even get worm infestation because of it. Give her a tab. Bandy plus as a single dose before bed. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
