My kid has diagnosed with asthma today. He has wheezing and trouble breathing for last 6 months. Bpm is 155 and Spo2 was 92. In hospital they used 3 repsules of Duolin. But someone said that Duolin is dangerous for 5 year old, last time they gave levolin and he was fine then. But today they 3 repsules of Duolin. Please suggest are there any side effects. Pls don't say consult.
The medicine given is for giving sudden relief . In Severe asthma , repeated doses might be required until the bronchospasm relieves . Duolin has levosalbutamol as the content .
For acute exacerbation it is given .

No worry. Pl take the treatment as advised. Later once symptoms are decreased,the dose will be reduced. Pl consult pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
