Dulcoflex tablet during breastfeeding
Hello doctors i have a 6 month old baby whom I breastfeed like 30% & she is on solids . I am constipated severely & haven't passed motion since 6 days can i take dulcoflex 5 mg tablet one dose for it ? Will it pass to breast milk and harm baby ? The tablets active material is Bisacodyl
Will this substance harm baby ?

Yes, bisacodyl is generally considered safe during breastfeeding.

Bisacodyl acts locally in the large intestine.
Very minimal or no amount enters the bloodstream, so it does NOT pass into breast milk in any significant quantity.
Therefore, it does not affect the baby.
