Dry Throat with Sticky Mucous Feeling

I have a dry Throat for last 3 weeks. There is a feeling that something is sticking on my throat which i try hard to pull and swallow. Generally happens at night. I am taking Montek LC along with Veloz D (empty stomach ) for last one week. Is it some kind of side effect? If not, please help me.
