Dry socket

2021-02-19 15:24:56
I have been undergone a surgical procedure 24 hours back for removal of 1) a 90 degree horizontally impacted wisdom teeth in the left lower jaw. 2) A premolar in the left upper jaw. I am on painkiller Flamar 3D and few antibiotics. I am having no pain at all. Is it normal or may cause a dry socket after few days?

Please follow post operative instructions. As for impaction surgery, start your mouth opening exercises, keep the area clean, use mouthwash for 1 week. The main thing is avoid smoking ( if you have habit) . Nothing to worry about. Hope this helps you

If you fill the post surgical instructions given by the surgeon then the chances of you developing a dry socket are very less. If you smoke then avoid smoking for 7 days
