My mom is prescribed with Paxidep12.5 after breakfast and Lonazep 0.5 and Amitryn 10 after dinner for tension, depression, forgetfulness, sleeplessness and fear. Now she oversleeps and is drowsy throughout the day. Is this a side effect of the medicines or is this normal? Because of this she says she cannot go out of the house and has to remain at home.

However, all these symptoms could also be due to depression. Was she having these even before starting the medication.
