If the pet dog is fully vaccinated, then no issues. If  the dog is not vaccinated, then it is always advisable to get vaccination. In your case, it has been 8 days. Just observe the dog for two more days. Since the usual observation period is 10 days.

Licking on intact skin will not cause harm to you, there is no need for vaccination if there was no bleeding (cut or bite) or licking on intact skin.
