Can I take vaccine after 12 year of dog bite?Why do vaccine will be not effective?Telling about the dog,dog bitten only me in his life time,was old,very furious  and nit bite any one and died under 16 day of biting me. Am I safe or going to die in some years??plzz reply...

vaccine will not be effective at this point of time. Practically there is no risk but theoretically virus can be present in dormant situation for many years. i don't think you should worry. you can go for prophylactic shots if you think you have further exposure.
