Doctor started insulin 20 units a day ( morning 12 and Evening 8) from March 19  to 36 units a day ( morning 20 and Evening 16)  till to April 10. Later I got hypoglycemia when doctor increased to 40 units a day ( Morning 22 and Evening 18) later revised to 36 then End of April doctor advised me for C-PEPTIDE test which was 3.5 ng/ml ( Ref 1.1- 4.5)  and GAD Test which was 1.64 ( Ref < 10.00) I stopped from May 1st all Medications and insulin as I had work to go out of City. 4, 5 days the readings were normal. You will require to take treatment for diabetes. However, insulin is not needed. It can be managed well by tablets. You need to get the following tests done : fbs, plbs, hba1c,  anti micrisomal antibodies. Based on these tests we can decide on medicines for diabetes as well as thyroid.
