What is the reason some dogs die from distemper despite being well-vaccinated, as well as from parvo?

Vaccination usually provides immunity against the virus but doesn’t completely prevent the body form catching the virus, if the body immunity is very weak despite vaccination the animal can get these viral infections and might not survive as the secondary complications caused by the virus

There may be three reasons why a well vaccinated dog gets a disease. 1. Vaccination failure (where there is an issue in the batch of vaccine or failure of cold chain, etc.) 2. Immune status of the dog (if the dog is immunosuppressive in nature, then they may have very low immunity and easy target for infections) 3. New strain of virus (if there is a mutation and new strain of CD or Parvo is affecting the animals then they can get the disease)

Yes, vaccinated dogs can get distemper, but the recommended vaccination protocol can significantly reduce their chances of becoming sick. The distemper vaccine is a core vaccine that's designed to boost immunity, lessen the severity of the disease, and help control the spread of infection.

This case senerio is very rearly seen among dogs that the proper vaccinate dogs are dies from the disease….. they can get disease from any other animal thoroughly contact….. but if animal dies it is of due vaccination failure and any other secondary bacterial infections.and biggest reason of vaccine failure is not maintaining cold storage chain of vaccine properly.
