Dislocated condyle on left side?pan xray
I have lower jaw pain with swelling, ear pain and tenderness under the ear and on top of the neck for 2 months. Went to the dentist and took pan xray. Dentist said it's because of my upper wisdom tooth or minor crack in lower first molar. Removed the upper wisdom tooth 10 days back. But still the same pain and swelling. Had an online consultation with another dentist, he said I have Dislocated condyle on left side. Is that true? I don't have any symptoms on the left side. But my symptoms only on the right side. I don't know if it's true. My symptoms started 2 months back. Before it started, I did lots of chewing one day(soft foods only) and immediately after eating, I had tightness in the upper right molars. Next day jaw pain and swelling started. What could be the issue? What should be my next step? Minor crack cause these symptoms?

No you don't have any dislocation of any condyle. Your symptoms and X ray do not indicate any such thing. However kindly elaborate your nature of pain. How does it start. What aggravates it. I don't thinks thats a case of dislocated condyle had that been the condition u wouldn't be able to close ur mouth or chew food or even speak properly. Hence the condition of a dislocation is ruled out .
Yes there are changes in your TMJ as appreciate in your Panoramic radiography. The symptoms are more likely to be TMDs .For which you need an extended treatment and follow up.
